We're using DLT7000 drives. They rock. We'll have to see whether
Leonard's mtx utilities will work with them and how hard it will be to
integrate them with BudTool (our backup software).

If you're using NDMP from another host (with BudTool, a Sun) to
control backups on the NetApp, I think the answer is yes. I'm not the
backup person here, so don't take my answer as authoritative.
