I have that same timeout Lockup problem when at CD-Rom that can not
be reconized, is trying to be read, but can not, so time out occures, and the SCSI bus is reset, and
SYSTEM Locks up.

On WinNT 3.51 the timeout happens, but then you have a choice to ignor.
PS. Is there away to search this mail-list for past postings?
