It's sure the internal model (perhaps 'Dat24i' ?) works
fine with Linux RedHat 5.0.
I've tried it with 'taper' and 'bru', and mainly with 'tar'.

We also have a external model working with 'HP-UX',
but the reference sound me like '1557...' and the
model , perhaps, Dat24e. I'm a few confused because
we had at the beginning another external model (also Dat24?).
This one break down in two weeks and the vendor changed it,
and the model it is not the same exactly. I remember
the older model had a block switch at the bottom
that does not have the actual model.

If you are interested, I can review it next monday at work.

     > It has a 68pin SCSI interface

I think all these models are 50pins SCSI interface.

    Bye.
