Thanks a lot for sending us your first results with Ultra2.

I just made available 2.6i-to-2.6j ncr53c8xx driver patch.
I did fix 2 bugs in 2.6i, incorporate PPC and SPARC changes and ... 
my personal changes for 2.1.9X/SMP in 2.6j ;-).

Reads are significantly faster than writes. With the Atlas II they are 
very similar using Bonnie.

More that 11 MB/sec sustained data rate. Quite good for a 7200 rpm HD.

I am very interested in results using this beast. Should be interesting 
to run benchmarks on the both disks at the same time.
Would suggest linux-2.1.96 SMP + latest driver 2.6j using 32 tags.
