     Yes indeed it is a different controller.  The one that's generating
all the griping is an EISA-based 53c710 controller.  Yours is a PCI 53c810
controller.  Thanks for the information though -- I have some newer
ProSignias (with the PCI card) that I'll be retiring from NetWare service
soon -- they'll make stellar Linux boxes!
