Hi all,

our organisation was donated an old SNI server containing an EISA NCR
53710 SCSI controller.

I tried different kernels (both pre- and self- compiled) using the
53c7x0,800 driver, but the controller wasn't recognized. I read in an old
HOWTO, that the drivers for the 53c7x0 were not entirely completed. Is
that correct, is there a newer kernel version (2.0.31) supporting this
controller, or am I doing something wrong ?

Thanks
Peter Koenig
