I have just pick up a SCSI II Drive and a Card Advansys ABP 510 No Bios
card. THe configuration and diagnostic utils for the card say that
everything is working and reports the type of the drive correctly.
But when booting into linux with the driver complied in the initilization
of the driver fails
Mar 20 20:18:32 darknight kernel: scsi0 : AdvanSys SCSI 2.0: ISA 240 CDB:
BIOS C800, IO 210-21F, IRQ 11, DMA 6
Mar 20 20:18:32 darknight kernel: scsi : 1 host.
Mar 20 20:18:39 darknight kernel: scsi : aborting command due to timeout :
pid 1, scsi0, channel 0, id 1, lun 0 Test Unit Ready 00 00 00 00 00
I think it is because I dont have right termination etc... but I am stuck
with what to try. I am new to using SCSI so would really appreciate some
help.
Thanks
