Hey there peoples. I have an Asus SC875 PCI SCSI controller card. And
the damned manual says absolutely *nothing* about termination power.
I have 2 Quantum Atlas II Ultra-Wide drives and I need to know what to do
about the termination power jumper on these.
Currently installed in the system.. starting at the host adapter and going
out to the end:
Seagate ST11200N 1.2G SCSI-2 Narrow
ST11200N 1.2G SCSI-2 Narrow
Plextor PX-R412CSi SCSI-2 Narrow CD-R
PX-32TSi Ultra SCSI-2 Narrow CD-ROM
Termination supplied by the PX-32TSi
I want to add a wide chain consisting of the 2 Quantums. I realize one of
these needs to be terminated, but what about the termination power?
Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. Host Adapter
termination is automatic, btw.
Thanks,
Leeman Strout
