Hello:

I've just installed a SCSI interface on my Linux box and now I'm
wondering just how fast it goes - and if there is anything I need to
tune to get the most out of it. Some Unix material I was reading talked
about a command called iostat, but I can't seem to find any reference in
Linux to this command or any other command that could be used to
measure/watch disk subsystem performance.

(Of course, there are benchmark programs of various sorts, but I'm
interested in what my system is doing during normal production loads
rather than artificial benchmark environments.)

Thanks.
