Can we stop this thread so that it does not become as huge as devfs thread
has been? If you need fixed scsi device names, go ahead and install devfs
patch, which is available from
ftp://ftp.atnf.csiro.au/pub/people/rgooch/linux/kernel-patches/v2.1/devfs-patch-current.gz
If you like it, do something so that it gets into mainstream. Stop.
