Most problems reported about scsi are about the adaptec controllers. Not
due to the writer of the driver, but merely because adaptec is not as
supportive as f.i. Buslogic. Buslogic even says that linux is supported
on the box.
If you do not want any troubles, just stick to Buslogic...
Better yet: just stick to everybody with linux support (or open hardware
specs.).
