After quickly (too quickly?) giving up trying to get an Adaptec AHA-1520B
to work, I obtained a Buslogic BT-946C. I'm running Redhat 4.2, kernel
2.0.30 with scsi support included (Buslogic driver as a module), but I'm
still getting 0 hosts detected. I would appreciate it if someone could
give me some tips on BIOS setups (motherboard and SCSI controller) that
might help me get this thing working. Should the Buslogic driver be
compiled into the kernel, or should it be a module? Should the
controler BIOS address be jumpered, or should the motherboard BIOS
assign it? I'm new at this, and I really don't know what I'm doing. I
would be grateful for any advice, trial and error has only resulted in
errors so far.
