As reported earlier on linux-kernel, I noticed that my 2940 would
crash the system (2.1.84, Tyan Tomcat dual P5) if not using Ingo
Molnars IO_APIC patches. With those patches applied everything runs
smoothly (there are three disks, dat, cdrom and a MO drive
hooked up to the 2940, so it's not quite idle).
