I've also had problems with my Atlas II drives, and Leonard found a new
firmware at Quantum's ftp site that seems to fix the problem thus far.
Leonard, can you tell us exactly how to apply these firmware upgrades? I have
been unable to find the executable that writes it to the disk..
There's a program called QSHR_LDR.EXE on their FTP site that purports to do
this. I would look for instructions in the LXY4 directory, since that version
is officially released. I haven't actually used QSHR_LDR.EXE myself since I
have a different program I was given a while back when I received L915.
Unfortunately, I do not have permission to distribute it.
