My fault, I didn't read your whole message. I'm used to seeing people
ask about the DAC960 controller boards, and the word "incompatible"
always comes to mind. Sorry.
The BT-958 works great with Linux, by the way. Much better than
Adaptec.
You're correct that Mylex has purchased Buslogic. The DAC960 product
line has existed for many years as a Mylex entity. I think the first
products used the EISA bus. :)
CMD also makes some nice external RAID controllers. After the buggy
IDE chip fiasco, I'm not sure if I'd trust them, but who knows...
