Hi all!
I've been working with an aha2940 and a fireball disk for a while, with no problems, so I think the internal cable is rigth. Now I attached an external
philips cdd2600 cd-writer (the external cable is the ariginal philips' one, so
I think it's good too).
The problem is that when I burn a CD, it writes it perfectly, but when
it finishes, I get some (really a lot) of messages saying that the scsi bus got locked (There says that a reset comand was sent and didn't get a response, ore something like this). Obviously, the scsi system gets complety locked (the kernel semms to continue workin properly, I ca switch consoles, try to login , etc,
but nothing else, as it can't read my hard disk).
The CD gets burned perfectly. I read and compared it, and no errors.
Any clues?
TIA!
Tomas.
PD: please CC me a copy, as I'm not in the list.
TIA AGAIN!
