Hi Dirk!
I have such a 1533A connected to an ADAPTEC 2940UW and it's working fine
there under linux-2.0.31 and 2.1.65 since about 1/2 year. There should be
no problem using other scsi controllers. This drive is indead specified as
a 4-16GB drive but in real life it doesn't hold more than 4GB.
