Hi,

Someone wants to sell his internal SCSI DAT streamer that came with his
PC. He told me it is a '1533'. I cannot find anything about that device.
He says, that it is a 4-16GB drive (4GB uncompressed). Is that true?

Another question: Does that device work under Linux (2.0.31, Symbios
Logic 8250S)? [Can it handle 4GB tapes under Linux?]

If I examine that device, what should I look for?

Any information is welcome. The HP homepage was not helpfull, and the
SCSI-HOWTO doesn't contain anything about that.

P.S.: Please reply directly to me, because I'm not on the list. [Still
having local technical problems]. Direct replies will work. Thanks.
