Adaptec 2910 anyone?

I'm wondering if anyone has any feelings on the adaptec 2910.
I'm currently using one using the 2940/????/???? drivers and
I wasn't even sure if it was going to work at all, but it
seems to be running. I have a tr4 scsi tape off on it and
a NEC 8X CDROM. The only thing I'm noticed is this from the
tape drive, although it appears to be working:
