I have been running an Adaptec 1522 in a PC at home for a couple of years,
and it has been working without problems.
What do you mean by "couldn't detect" ?
What does
cat /proc/scsi/aha152x/0
tell you ?
Is the BIOS on the 1520 enabled or disabled?
