Hi,

My SCSI card is hooked to a Jaz drive. If I use the command "modprobe
advansys" at the prompt with the Jaz drive turned off, linux has no
problem recognizing the SCSI card. The output is simply:

scsi0: AdvanSys SCSI 1.5: PCI (16 CDB): BIOS 0, IO 7F00-7F0F, IRQ 11
scsi: 1 host

However, if the Jaz drive is on, then I get the following message:

scsi0: AdvanSys SCSI 1.5: PCI (16 CDB): BIOS 0, IO 7F00-7F0F, IRQ 11
scsi: 1 host
Vendor:	iomega Model: jaz 1GB Rev: H.72
Type: Direct-Access	ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi removable disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id4, lun0
Attempt to allocate device channel 0, target 4, lun 0
Kernel Panic: No device found in allocate_device

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I should fix it?

Sunnia
