Basically, I want a card which is a good value. Common wisdom suggests Buslogic flashpoint types for all but the most demanding environments, which would be best served by DPT cards. Buslogic is reasonably cheap, electrically robust, and have a very good driver for Linux, thanks to Zubkoff who wrote it and to the Buslogic people who have been very collaborative. All this is a summary of things read on the net, not from my personal experience, but I read quite a lot before making my own buying decision. Francesco
