I am in the market for a SCSI card and need some advice. I have been
subscribed to this list for about a month and have seen very few
questions like mine, so I apologize for mailing to the wrong list if
that is the case.

I am interested in a card which is reliable, affordable, and a good
performer. Basically, I want a card which is a good value.

My initial use for this card would be to attach a Zip drive. I
currently have a parallel port Zip drive but am not pleased with the
performance. I am sure that I will buy other components to attach to
it, therefore I don't want to use the SCSI card that comes with the
Zip drive.

Does anyone have any experience with AdvanSys cards?

What about Bus Logic (now Mylex)?

Any other recommendations?
