Philips CD-R problems...

I have philips CD-Recorder on an adaptech 2940. Every time I try to play
back an audio-cd the driver (aic7xxx) resets the scsi bus. After 15 secs
(the reset delay time) everything works fine until I try to stop the CD-R
playing, then the same thing happens. Before the scsi bus is reset I get
some error messages which probably refer to sense errors. I've connected
the only the CD-R on the Adaptech2940 and I've also terminated it. So
there shouldn't be any problems due to bad termination. When I try burn a
blanck CD using cdwrite v2.0 it suddenly stops near the end of the
proccess and I get again some sense error messages on my screen by the
driver. The CD-R mounts perfectly normal about every data CD I've fedd it.
What's going on ??????????????????????????????????????????????????
