They also have the infamous 3243 which is good for anywhere from a few
weeks to a year of heavy use, then kicks the bucket.  To top it off,
Micropolis has had serious financial problems, and IIRC filed for
bankrupcy and someone bought the name and honors warranties on some of
their drives.

What about the old Seagate ST-410800?  I'm thinking at least 3 of them in
an external cabinet with a big power supply and lots of fans.  Still
dreaming about a nice big news spool.
