Hi,

I'm not subscribed to the Linux SCSI mailing list, so please e-mail
me replies. Thanks :^)

I'm building a Pentium II SCSI PC for a friend in a couple of
weeks. I want to buy him the new Asus P2L97 motherboard and am
considering the P2L97-S with built-in SCSI. This uses the
Adaptec AIC-7880 controller chip on-board.

Is there Linux support for this chip already? If not, is
somebody known to be working on it? It looks like a very
nice chip, IMHO, but I'm not the SCSI expert. TIA!
