Hello,
I am having quite a bit of trouble getting my SCSI card to work with the
NCR-5380 driver. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Here is what the card looks like. Corel Systems Corp. LS2000, w/ Corel
Systems BIOs Ver 1.65 1992. It has a NCR 53C400 chip on it. One internal
SCSI cable connector and One external SCSI connector. I have the ROM
enabled and the SCSI Bus termination on, these are set via jumpers. I only
have one internal hard drive rconnected to it and nothing else, the HDD is
at LUN 0.

When I try and load the NCR5380 driver as a module I have some trouble. I
do not know what IRQ to use, Memory Mapp adress or Port address either. If
I set the modporbe command line like this:

modprobe g_NCR5380 ncr_irq=255 ncr_addr=0xc8000 ncr_53c400=1

I get the message scsi0: busy, then I get the message attempting to remove
module or interface. Something like that anyways but that is the jist of
the message. After that the machine is followed by a total lock up. I am
running 2.0..29

I know the SCSI card is good because I have used it in a DOS machine just
fine. I think my problem is that I am not specifying the correct options
to the driver.

I don't have any documentation on the card and I can't find any on the
net, so I am not sure how (if I need to) set the memmory region to use, or
IO port.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out, suggestions,
tips, etc.

Thanks.

PS. I am not on the Linux-SCSI list so please CC me on replies to this.
Thanks again.
