Who has the same problems like Ramon (?) and me with the PCI SCSI-controller
ADAPTEC 2940, may i recommend the patches of the LST-distribution 1.8.2
(Kernel 1.1.68) with the alpha-drivers for the 2940. At the distributions of
SuSE (april 95), which i got, the kernel didnt get the *SYNCRONISATION*.
Thus i downloaded a bootdisk of kernel 1.1.68 from a german server:
faui43.informatik.uni-erlangen.de
I would be very grateful for someones posting another kernel-version, which
is working fine with the 2940 (Would You please put the adress of the
distributor, where i can get the CD?).
