problems in compiling aic7xxx.c

Dear hackers,
i have problems in upgrading my alpha pc164 machine
to the latest kernel version 2.0.31-9. The compiling
process stops because of alpha-64bit-specific errors
in the adaptec scsi source aic7xxx, see the following
output from building the kernel:
