Hey there,

My problem:

My actual kernel on a file-server is 2.0.25.

I have adaptec 2940UW and only a 8GB raid-system ( scsi-II ), connected to
the external port.
Termination is ok,

/proc/scsi/aic7xxx/0 says:

Adaptec AIC7xxx driver version: 4.0/3.2/4.0

Compile Options:
  AIC7XXX_RESET_DELAY : 15
  AIC7XXX_TWIN_SUPPORT : Enabled
  AIC7XXX_TAGGED_QUEUEING: Disabled
  AIC7XXX_PAGE_ENABLE : Disabled
  AIC7XXX_PROC_STATS : Disabled

Adapter Configuration:
          SCSI Adapter: AHA-2940 Ultra
                        (AIC-788x chipset)
              Host Bus: Wide
               Base IO: 0xd400
                   IRQ: 11
                  SCBs: Used 2, HW 16, Page 16
            Interrupts: 146868
         Serial EEPROM: True
  Extended Translation: Enabled
        SCSI Bus Reset: Enabled
            Ultra SCSI: Disabled
     Target Disconnect: Enabled

( strange: in the adaptec-bios Disconnect is disabled )

From time to time i get a scsi-bus reset and then the system hangs.

Now i want to upgrade to kernel 2.0.30 from my SuSE-distribution.

My question:

What is the actual, stabile scsi-driver for Adaptec 2940UW, for my kernel
2.0.30 ?
Where can i get it ?
