Which BIOS support does Asus SC-200 need?

Hello to everybody!
I am going to get an NCRc8xx based SCSI host adapter,
but I don't understand if my motherbord (Intel Zappa)
work with Asus SC-200 or it need BIOS support available
only in Asus' motherboards?
I am not going to boot from SCSI device (for two years)
or use it in DOS.
Can anybody explain me this subject?
