  I just got a BT-948 (Firmware 5.06I & Bios 4.xxF) and a Toshiba
XM-5701TA. I was trying to get it to boot from CD-Rom last night but
nothing I tried worked. It would get to the point where it should
begin to boot, and just hang there. The CD is bootable, I put my old
IDE CD-Rom drive back in and it booted from it, I just couldn't get
it to boot from the SCSI.

  Any ideas?

I suggest you contact Mylex HBA Technical Support at techsup@mylex.com. This
is the kind of question they are more likely to have the answer to. Do make
sure that SCAM is turned off, though.
