DPT compatibility?

Hello, my supervisor is building a system with a DPT 2144UWR SmartCache IV
RAID card. The DPT web site offers a link to site with drivers for Linux,
http://www.i-Connect.Net/~mike/scsi/dpt/
but the only Linux specific thing I found there was a RedHat 4.0 bootdisk,
which is a bit dated.
My question is, is it possible to use the BSDi drivers with Linux, or is
there another source for newer drivers for Linux?
