From: "Jeff DeMaagd" <jdemaa17@iserv.net> To: <linux-scsi@vger.rutgers.edu> Date: Sat, 17 May 1997 11:47:17 -0400 I am considering buying the Iomega Jazz Jet PCI SCSI card. According to the Jazz How-To, there are two different versions, one is Adaptec compatible, the other is Advansys compatible, and that both work under Linux using it standard drivers. The reason I am considering it is because it is much cheaper than other PCI SCSI cards. I have a Pentium PC, am currently using both 95 and RedHat 4.0 and plan to use it for a CD-ROM and a CD-ROM changer, but maybe someday get other types of devices also. Does anyone have any meaningful comments on this? If anyone has one please also tell me which kind it is and how well it works. Thank you for your time. Jeff
