Thanks for your advice - I guess I have to upgrade to the latest kernel
then; aha2940 was supported only from 1.3.20+ (?)  and support for it
could be a bit insufficient for my kernel 1.3.68.

The Fujijsu MO I have access to was indeed used for a Mac beforehand - how
do you set the jumper ? I see no external switches at all.
