Cabling and termination can cause these problems. Also, improper
use of the connectors on the 7880 (using all three - int 50, int 68,
ext 68), will also cause problems.

A buggy driver will cause problems too. There's a new test release
of the driver at:

  ftp://ftp.pcnet.com/users/eischen/Linux/aic7xxx-2.1.26-Apr20.tgz
  ftp://ftp.dialnetnet/pub/linux/aic7xxx/pcnet.com/aic7xxx-2.1.26-Apr20.tgz

Note that the 284x support is broke. We're trying to fix that, so
the driver will not be ready for prime time until it's fixed.
But for PCI and EISA adapters it _should_ work much better.

Reminder: There's a separate mailing list for aic7xxx development.
           Please post follow-ups there.
