Hi,

I know the newsgroup-name implies development, but nevertheless this seemed
like to most appropriate place to ask:

Are the SMART-2 controllers used by compaq in their ProLiant line of servers
supported by Linux? They are not mentioned in the Hardware-HOWTO (but
that's from 1995), and also not in the SCSI-HOWTO. Also couldn't
find specific mention of them in the kernel tree (2.0.29).

Still I have hopes that maybe they are supported, but only the chipset
is named in the docs, and I have no idea what chipset it uses.

Could anybody enlighten me? A simple 'Yes' or 'No' would do...

Maarten
