Are you sure about this?  I tried my Sparc cable, in place of the one that
I figured to have problems, and all devices appeared just fine.  Its
definately a cable problem.  I do have both internal 'plugs' active on the
2940.  I can understand how it would break termination rules, though.
Maybe I should get an updated c.p.s howto.
