If you just want space, the price difference and speed is probably
towards a fixed disk. However if you want portability, go for the
removable disk. My Syquest 270 is in an external SCSI case and I can
disconnect that from my tower and take the drive, my laptop, a PCMCIA
SCSI card and 10 Gb of removable disks on the road. It is a bit
difficult to get 10 Gb internal in a laptop :).
