I actually wasn't sure if you were going to be running the once-written
songs off the media you were copying them from. There are CDROMs that are
18x speed now, and do over 2meg/sec.

Linux has support for several rewritable CDROMs, most of which are priced
around $550. Check out the CDROM-HOWTO for info on which are supported,
and where to find software/hardware for them under linux. The media is
usually about $6.00 in lots of 100, like $6.50 under 100.
