hi, i'm new to this mailing list. i was just setting up a college linux
server and the `scsi' boot kernel couldn't recognize the bus logic
controller. i was using a 2 year old, slakware 3.0 (kernel 1.2.13)
distrib.
i'll try to use a newer distrib tomorrow. the port address for the
controller is 0x6000 and the base address is 0x8000. could that be the
reason for the problem ?
