First: I am new to this mailing list so this might be a FAQ, but I have
searched the net and couldn't find anything.

I tried to install redhat 4.0 with an upgraded bootdisk they had made
with a 2.0.18 kernel, it reqognized my ctrl as ncr875 and my hd and
cdrom, but after resetting twice it died during partition checking sda.

I have now uploaded ncrBsd2Linux-1.17a-src.tar.gz, patched a 2.0.29
kernel and made a new installation disk (on another machine) and will
try this one out tonight. Is there anything I should know before I try
again ?

My system is ASUS dual Pentium Pro, ASUS SC875 ctrl'er, Ibm DORS wide
scsi-II HD, Toshiba scsi-II cdrom.
