SCSI lockup with cdwrite

	I have an EIDE disk, and BT-445C driving
	a Ricoh-1420C and Linux 2.0.29

	mount /cdrom works fine, but cdwrite -hp
	gets to the point where it writes the first
	block and just locks up! HELP! I'm running
	out of blank coasters!

	The CD-mini-howto (1.2.13 ++) says to set
	disconnect-OFF, but other docs say OK.
	Would this make a difference?

	NB I have a cute SCSI error code reporter,
	it's on news:linux.apps.cdwrite, but it does
	require a running CPU!
