I need help desperately...

I've got a Compaq Deskpro 590 XL, wich means I've got a P90 with PCI/EISA
motherboard... Unfortunately Compaq doesn't say too much about their embedded
PCI SCSI-II controller... Linux doesn't recognize it when unpacking the kernel
in the very beginning of installation... I've tried all drivers that possibly
could be "emulated" by the controller but no one is working out... Some
drivers detect the controller upon forcing it, but nevertheless it doesn't
work...

I've found out that the controller is a:

AMDPcScsi PCI controller... It is at the address of C8000 and uses IRQ 10 and
port 7100h... Upon looking in memory at C8000 you can read:

Advanced Micro Devices and Sequioa... something...

Can I get this to work with Linux? I've got the latest Slackware version
distributed on CD-ROM in March... Greatful for answers...
