To make a long story not so long... I have a model 3600 Pentium laptop
manufactured by Clevo, with docking station. The dock has an Adaptec
AIC 6360Q scsi controller built in, and I want to install Linux on this
machine, learn how to use it, and tell big brother Bill @ Microsoft to
kiss me. I am assuming that I need a special kernel for my boot disk
prior to installation, but cannot find what I think I need. My search
offered your E-mail address referenced by another user. Can you help
me? I am desparate to rid myself of the Microsoft mentallity.
