Ok, I did a mistake and created a kernel with the old ncr driver
instead of the new one. Here is the correct output when 2.1.26
with ncr53c8xx rev. 1.17a is booted using: ncr53c8xx=diff:3,wide:1
max_scsi_luns=1
If I use max_scsi_luns=7 the system still hangs after detecting all
the devices.
