Sorry Gerard, the mail I sent direct to you crunched hard
somewhere on your end. So I send it to the linux-scsi list. JimL

Hello Gerard,
I grabbed the above . In great hopes that the (WetBlanketJim)
syndrome would be fixed. But alas, It is still present &
after a short period of time while compiling some piece of
code the scsi-bus hangs. Then I -have- to e2fsck the drives.
Only sda1 has to have inodes cleared.
OK Now we get tough on this problem, Would you be kind enough
to point me at which items of debugging to turn on in the
driver & if possible can the output be sent to a file of our
choosing ? I would prefer to send it to a file located on sdb1
just for grins..
Tia, JimL
