	Gerard, I am doing a 'make zdisk' in order to not write the test
	kernel to the primary disk.  So the above is a 'little difficult'
	at best to do, unless I am missing something obvious ?

	So I'll create a backup boot file for the still good kernel.
	and try  the above .

	You are already doing a great deal, & I always recommend your
	work to anyone using the ASUS-SC200 card.
	That driver has been the best working driver for the sc200
	I have seen.
