I got the document from Exabyte, but it doesn't seem to help. The main
problem is that during tape operation I will get random invalid sense
data errors and 'Error writing filemark' errors within a few hundred
megabytes. Tape performance is lower than I expected, too, and it takes
about 15 seconds from the beginning of a write operation before the
tape is actually written to.

Has anyone seen anything similar to this? I'm using a Buslogic 958C, and
kernel 2.0.27. Thanks!
