Re: unable to open /dev/sda

Thank you and thank anyone who helped me .
Now the kernel recognize the scsi hard disk. But now a  new problem 
occured, it can not boot up from the harddisk. 
I made two partions on sda, that is /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 , I used 
/dev/sda1 as swap partition and /dev/sda2 as / file system. And I made 
no partition on the rest, that is  /dev/sdb1 as /usr and /dev/sdc1 as 
/etc . My lilo.conf is something like  boot = /dev/sda 
boot = /dev/sda2   .
Could anyone help me please?
